Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna can boldly be recognized as one of the prestigious football clubs in Nigeria not only because of its outstanding matches but also composes of skilled footballers who have devoted themselves to making the club and the state as a whole to be proud of them.

It has been among the oldest football clubs in Nigeria established in the year 1977 and has not only made a name in the National professional leagues but also has striven to come out better in all areas of its activities.

The football club has the vision of being the best football club in Nigeria as well as developing new and aspiring individuals who have a passion for football, training and promoting them to international levels whilst allowing them to show their skills in the local and national football tournament and championships available.

The club has made so many achievements which are not limited to their football activities in the Nigerian FA Cup in the year 2000, they also played in the National Second Division only in 1996 and 2015. They have also made appearances in CAF competitions such as 2001 CAF Cup Winners' Cup (reached quarter-finals), and 2010 WAFU Club Championship which they reached the quarter-finals also.
